New production of the original Opel metal plate. Helps isolate carburetor from rising exhaust heat. Helps reduce "vapor lock" and other drivability problems arising from ethanol now offered in gasoline blends. Best when installed with our part #9004 or 9035 and #9018 gaskets. Note: The center hole is large enough to match the larger 38 DGAS barrel design. Works with Solex, Weber 32/36 DGV and 38 DGS series carburetors. Can also be used with the new Holley Sniper EFI as an added option. (Also works on some non-Opel models, like the BMW, MGB, Toyota etc.. with the Weber option).
