A replacement for the original vinyl cover. This new cover fits directly on the shifter linkage under the round rubber shift boot. Nowadays, these are almost always old and stiff or missing altogether. Helps keep sand and dirt out of the shifter pivots, bushings and reverse lock out mechanism.
